In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kalani thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. On her blog she’ll ask a simple question for us to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. Then if we would like to participate, we can do the same.
I am participating this week and my question is:
Do you like receiving Christmas Letters? You know, the kind where family brags about the accomplishments, etc. 🙂 ? I love receiving them, but I know others have a different point of view on those letters. I would like to know what you think, and if you have some time, let me know why 🙂

I don’t mind getting them at all! It is a nice idea!
I love to get them & to send them out. It's so nice to hear about our friends who we don't get to see as often.
I do not mind getting them. Does it count if I do not open them? And personally, I think they are poor substitutes for gift cards to Starbucks. 🙂
I’ve actually never received one, but I don’t think I’d mind. 🙂
I don’t mind getting them. I like most that I receive but there are a few that are over the top every single year….from the same people. I roll my eyes at the single spaced, double sided, adjusted margin letters. Our letter is never quite that crazy, but I felt convicted that maybe someone reads my letter from mainland US and people might think I was bragging, just because I live in Hawaii. So I pared the letter down last year quite a bit.
It really does not matter to me. My aunt is the only person that does it and I read and laugh at her take on her family news 😉
It’s a nice idea, I enjoy getting caught up with those I can’t keep in touch with more often. However, the in-laws put one out each year and my hubby and I are not ever in it – just themselves, their local friends, and my sister-in-law. Gets a little touchy around here because of that.

I don’t mind getting them if they’re one page or less. What I don’t like is the novels. If they want us to know every aspect of their life they should start a blog 🙂
I enjoy getting them, as long as they don’t turn into a novel, lol

I have not received a Christmas letter in years but I do enjoy them.
I enjoy reading the letters as long as they aren’t too long! They are better if they come with pictures!
Thanks for stopping by yesterday!
