As I shared on an earlier post here, I attended the launching of the 4G technology Road Runner Mobile on (in) Maui. Now I am curious what percentage of bloggers uses a mobile device like this. So for Aloha Friday, my question is “Do you own an internet mobile device? If yes, who is the provider? If not, would you like to?” OK, I promise this is not a catch. I will not be calling you to sell. I am just curious, so please leave a comment and let me know. And don’t forget to visit An Island Life for more “aloha Friday: interaction!

Yes I do. My internet service is through Blackberry although I don’t have a Blackberry phone I have a windows mobile phone.
I admit it. I pay a stinkin’ $30 a month to have internet on my smart phone. I almost ended it until I downloaded this Google (FREE) app that gets me GPS, email and tons more!
Have a great Friday!

I have a wireless card through Verizon. I like being able to connect to the internet wherever I am but sometimes it’s really slow.

We just switched to a texting plan. Could not warrant a data plan just yet. Unfortunately it looks like Verizon is going to demand this now, so we’ll have to pay even more. I would love a Blackberry, but the cost is so much more each month.
No I do not.
I’m on T-mobile and WOULD NOT recommend it for Big Island users.

For some reason I have no desire to use the internet on my phone, so I actually turned it off because they kept charging me even though I never used it!

Will 4g phones change the world ?4g phones with service means mobile video conferencing ! Right now only sprint has 4g phones in the USA but Verizon plans to have a new 4g iPhone released in summer 2010 with 4g service in 25 cities and 4g coverage on the whole network by 2013.
No mobile for me… yet… I just use my desktop computer at home (and my ipod touch to check e-mail at home…)
I’ve been considering a laptop so that I would have more flexibility in where I write, but I’ve been on the fence about it forever.
BUT, I just heard about Apple’s ipad, and that has me seriously tempted… it looks VERY cool! That just might be the thing that makes me go mobile! 🙂
