I ran at the Wailea area yesterday morning. I took my little camera with me. Â The views are breathtaking. However, instead of just taking photos of the view, one aspect of the view caught my attention. Â It’s how colorful and beautiful the shrubs are along the way. Â Each of them have a unique character. Â I took a lot of photos but here are some of the “Weekly Winners“:
Aren’t those shrubs with their flowers pretty? Â Now for more beuatiful photos, I recommend yo go to Lotus’ blog and visit the participants of the Weekly Winners Blog Carnival. Â Seriously, they take a lot of high quality awesome photos – you’d enjoy them. Â Aloha!
Simply gorgeous!

Love those tropicals…color year-round. We’ve still got a few flowers blooming, but it’s so cold, their days are numbered. Flowers are my favorite and I never tire of looking at them.

Very beautiful! Was it close to the Wailea Shopping Mall? The other thing I noticed when we were there was the many quails along the roadside. We rarely see them on Oahu and they seem almost common there. Guess it is not too hard to tell that I adore flowers, birds and pretty much all other beautiful creatures and creations from Him!

Liza, I love your Hawaiian flower photos! The abundance of tropical flowers and their various seducing scents and fragrances is a big part of our love for the islands!
Keoki’s and my favorite Hawaiian flowers are: Plumeria (great for homemade leis for friends and visitors!), Gardenia (this scent!), Pikake (small flower with huge fragrance), orchids among many others.
