Oh man, flowers…. I think that’s the only thing I don’t like about Canada. Winter sucks without flowers!
You know, I grew up partly in the Indian Ocean (Reunion Island) and there is a flower there I looooooove, it’s called “frangipanier” in french, I think it might close in english. DO you guys have those too? They smell even better than vanilla!
Anyway, rambling here. Nice shots! Brings heat here!

The flowers and plants are up there with the things I miss most about Hawaii. Thanks for posting these lovely pics!
My personal favorite is the yellow Hibiscus with the red in the center. Do you know that this is called ‘Hula Girl’? Just perfect for this beautiful Hawaii flower!

Beautiful pictures!I love lush greenery, tropical ambiance, wildlife, and beautiful, accessible beaches with clean, clear water. What’s the better island for this, Maui or Kauai (or is there an even better one)? Furthermore, which portion of the island meets this the most? Also, do all of the islands have volcano’s? BTW, I don’t like nightlife, partying, noise, a lot of buildings, etc., but do enjoy good restaurants. Suggestions?
Thanks.
Those are gorgeous pics! My favourite is the second one!
I love to garden, and I’ve always thought that Maui must be a great place for avid gardeners – there would be so many exotic plants to choose from, since there would no worries about the plants needing to survive a freezing cold winter!
