Aloha Friday: Recommend Books and Activities For Summer Vacation

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kalani thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. On her blog she’ll ask a simple question for us to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. Then if we would like to participate, we can do the same.

I am participating this week and my question is: What books or activities can you recommend this summer vacation? School year 2008-2008 ends next week and so I need to get organized. I need your help. You may recommend one or many. It’s all up to you. Thank you.

  1. Books for you or for your kids? lol

If it’s for you I’d suggest The No. 1 Ladies Detective agency by Alexander McCall Smith. Great light summer reading. 🙂

  2. I have to say that for activities site seeing. JUST get out there and drive. Take your camera you never know what you’ll find
