In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So Kalani thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. On her blog she’ll ask a simple question for us to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. Then if we would like to participate, we can do the same.
Today Hawaii is experiencing high winds. It’s a stormy weather out there. I know that in other parts of the US or the world, it could be something else like snow storm.
Anyway, since it’s cold and most people are staying in, my question for this week is “what is your favorite drink during stormy weather?” coffee, cocoa or tea? maybe chai? And if you’re not into drinks – how about soup? what soup do you like?

Definitely hot cocoa. If I am going for soup it has to be black bean soup
Fill me up with coffee… Of course it doesn’t have to be cold for me to want coffee. I seem to need it all the time, even when it is really hot outside.

My usual lunch-time drink during the winter in Hot Chocolate at Starbucks. When it dips down below 0 here like it has for the last few days, I have them add-in the Peppermint syrup for a little extra warmth.
