We were at Keanae this Saturday for a surprise birthday party of one of dear friends. I planned to write a blog post about Keanae, but it’s now almost 11PM Sunday night, and my eyes are falling (need to go to bed). So for now, please enjoy the photos and I will catch up with you later.

I love the third picture with the kids! I’ve never been there, it’s beautiful.
I notice the girls stay on the wood plank. My three boys would be mud wrestling. I’ll have to take them there to camp soon. Mahalo for sharing.
As always, beautiful…no worries about writing an article. Your photos alone wipe away the winter blues.
I miss Maui! I am a local girl from Waiehu but moved to Las Vegas for college. Luckily my parents and family are still there for me to visit once a year. I miss Keanae. I haven’t been there in 10 years. Thanks for posting these pictures. Makes me miss home so much. Hopefully I get to move back one day.

I’m with Tania – the pic with the kids is my fave! Keanae is SUCH a gorgeous area… I love the wild feel of it, especially along the coast where the rocks are so black and the waves just CRASH up against them. Gorgeous! 🙂
And, now that I think of it, loved the banana bread from Aunty Sandy’s banana bread stand in Keanae too.
Good eats, great scenery – you can’t go wrong with that!
