Keanae On My Mind …

Keanae taken at the YMCA Camp

Maui Keanae

We were at Keanae this Saturday for a surprise birthday party of one of dear friends. I planned to write a blog post about Keanae, but it’s now almost 11PM Sunday night, and my eyes are falling (need to go to bed).  So for now, please enjoy the photos and I will catch up with  you later.

  1. I notice the girls stay on the wood plank. My three boys would be mud wrestling. I’ll have to take them there to camp soon. Mahalo for sharing.

  2. I miss Maui! I am a local girl from Waiehu but moved to Las Vegas for college. Luckily my parents and family are still there for me to visit once a year. I miss Keanae. I haven’t been there in 10 years. Thanks for posting these pictures. Makes me miss home so much. Hopefully I get to move back one day.

  3. I’m with Tania – the pic with the kids is my fave! Keanae is SUCH a gorgeous area… I love the wild feel of it, especially along the coast where the rocks are so black and the waves just CRASH up against them. Gorgeous! 🙂

And, now that I think of it, loved the banana bread from Aunty Sandy’s banana bread stand in Keanae too.

Good eats, great scenery – you can’t go wrong with that!
